Ira Smukler
Controller
Ira joined Urban Conversions at the end of 2023 as controller. Ira is responsible for managing all aspects of accounting for the company, including but not limited to financial reporting, payroll, maintaining accounting systems, treasury, compliance with regulatory requirements and managing internal control functions.
Before joining Urban Conversions, Ira worked as a property accountant for a public accounting firm providing outsourced accounting services for real estate clients. He also worked for 15 years as an assistant controller at a Philadelphia-based real estate and development firm.
Ira holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from La Salle University.
